Metochi farmhouse organizes an olive harvest and a presentation of the production of extra virgin organic olive oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This activity is an experience that will be unforgettable since you will become for a while farmers, with compensation, the production of olive oil by your own hands<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will visit the family house in the village of Metochi, which is located on an organic farm of 6 acres. The estate includes gardens, vineyards, orchards, pets and of course the organic olive grove where you will harvest the olives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First you will be given a presentation of the way of life on a traditional farm and you will learn a lot of information about the olive tree and olive oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then you will visit the olive grove and start the harvest with the guidance of the owners. Throughout the activity there will be useful information about olive trees, olive oil and all stages of production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the harvest you will visit the oil mill to watch the process of squeezing the fruit and turning it into olive oil as well as the unique experience to try it fresh!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This day trip includes a traditional treat and traditional lunch !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
